Rothrock Trail Alliance Public Meeting

Rothrock Trail Alliance has begun efforts to create 53 miles of new mixed-use trails in Rothrock State Forest. Please join us to discuss the new project, get your questions answered, and find out how you can help. The public meeting is Tuesday, Feb. 20, from 5:30-7 p.m. at Calvary Harvest Fields in Boalsburg.

Guest speakers from the Pennsylvania Department of Conservation and Natural Resources (DCNR) include Dr. Nathan Reigner, Director of the Office of Outdoor Recreation, Jason Albright, Assistant Director, State Forest Operations, and Mark Potter, District Forester, Rothrock State Forest. Applied Trails Research project manager and research lead, Dr. Jeremy Wimpey, will also be present to discuss trail design.

During the meeting, Rothrock Trail Alliance plans to announce the start of the project, showcase trail design, and solicit funding to construct future sections of the project.
