BEMBA Group Ride

BEMBA Group Ride

BEMBA is hosting a group ride, open to all, at RB Winter State Park this coming Sunday, April 13.

Arrive around 9:30 AM, park in the NW corner of the ‘Back Parking Lot,’ and check-in at the BEMBA Pop-up Tent. We hope to have ‘wheels turning’ at 10:00 a.m..

We have a few routes planned and will wait to see who/how many show up.  Rides are planned to be moderate paced and no-drop.

  • Here is a link to a ride that is a “WNR Usual“. 16 miles, 1600′ elevation gain. A few gravel roads are used to link singletrack trails.
  • And this is the same route with a bailout. 12 miles, 1400′ elevation gain.
  • If enough riders want a more challenging ride in the same area we could offer this.
  • A Gravel (only) Ride is also planned. 19 miles, 1900′ elevation gain.

We will hang out in the ‘Back Lot’ post-ride. Bring your own food/drink. Jump in the lake if you dare!

Note: RB Winter SP can be accessed from PA-192. Using the west Park entrance may be the easiest way to approach the ‘back lot’.
Do not expect to have cell service in the Park or surrounding State Forest.
