The Nittany Mountain Bike Association is working with DCNR on a proposed trail in Rothrock State Forest. We need your help.
Here are the details:
– Benefits all Rothrock State Forest user groups, including hikers, trail runners, and mountain bikers
– Help NMBA create the ultimate figure eight route – filling in the missing gap (since Camp has been closed)
– This will add approx 2.2 miles of additional sweet sustainable singletrack within the Rothrock State Forest
NMBA’s collaboration with DCNR foresters will bring this proposed connection to the already famous Tussey Ridge Trail in 2015
To do this, NMBA needs your help to raise $30,000 to make this a reality
Funds will go directly to:
Design and engineering of the trail to meet federal and state requirements
Pay for the trail to be mechanically built (like the new Chute trail) to meet DCNR sustainability standards
How: Donate through Center Gives on May 6 & 7
Centre Gives is a 36-hour online giving event designed to recognize and support the positive work of local nonprofits in Centre County! There is $100,000 in grant money and $25,000 in prizes on the line during this fun, community-wide online event!
